We’ll see you back in 2021

As the 2020 year wraps up with Ontario facing another lockdown, we here at The Salon will be closing for all in-person services starting December 24th, 2020 and are anticipating reopening on January 25th, 2021. You can still shop online for curbside pick-up of all your favourite styling tools and products. And our Digital Gift Cards can also be purchased online 24/7 if you are in need of a holiday gift or just to treat yourself in the new year!

As the month comes to a close everyone at The Salon wishes you a very Merry and Safe Christmas and we can’t wait to see you again in the new year! Until then you can be rest assured when we re-open we will be doing all we can to keep everyone healthy and safe when the time comes. We will continue to make every effort to make your visit in 2021 a safe and comfortable experience.

Our safety protocols will continue to be in place and include:

• PREempt disinfectant being used on all equipment and furniture between each client.

• Social distancing is always being practiced. We wrap every client’s jacket in plastic in our cloak room, so that no ones personal belongings are touching.

• Debit machines are disinfected before each customer and cash stored in disposable plastic money bags for 3 days before it’s cycled back into the cash register.

Have you met The Salon’s Virtual Greeter?

Since the summer, we have also been using The Monito virtual greeter at The Salon. It’s a device that scans the temperature of everyone who enters The Salon. It is equipped with mask recognition, asks health screening questions, and verifies name and phone number for potential contract-tracing purposes. Encrypted info is only stored for 30 days and then is automatically deleted from the device’s memory. All of our Salon staff members also check in with the greeter every day before they begin their shift.
